Basic Introduction Of Air Separation Equipment

Air separation equipment is a gas separation equipment that liquefies, rectifies, and finally separates air into oxygen, nitrogen and other useful gases, referred to as air separation equipment. Its minimum operating temperature is 77K.

At the end of the 19th century, air was still called "permanent gas." Later, it was discovered that air can be liquefied at deep low temperatures, and because of the different boiling points of oxygen and nitrogen, oxygen and nitrogen can be separated from liquefied air. The first commercial oxygen generator was made in 1903, and it was originally only used for gas welding and cutting of metal. The nitrogen fertilizer industry needs nitrogen, and the oxygen generator is developed to produce oxygen and nitrogen at the same time, and it is renamed air separation equipment.
